Remembering Dad today on his birthday. He would have been101 years old today.
I have many fond memories of a man who was kind, gentle, honest,
generous, soft spoken, and very loving.
I'm so thankful that we had such a man for our father.
We are who we are because of him.
I look forward to seeing him again and meeting with a warm embrace
and probably, knowing our family, there will be tears. Tears of joy.

Thank You for posting this I had no idea when his birthday was...well only if I dug out my geneology work. :p It's alwasy great to read stories about grandma and grandpa...it really helps us to get to know them. :)
